They must be connected in such a way that they are not closed, or at least one of the sides is open. In any level of the game there will be a time timer during which you must manage to feed all the animals. To make it easier to find suitable pairing for you, there will be hints for connection. They are located in the lower right corner of the game, they are shuffling and highlighting tiles. They will help you see couples that you have not previously noticed.
